Skagen Clothing, co-founded by Thomas Melgaard and Marcus Dahl, embodies the spirit of summer with its timeless, Scandinavian designs. Originating from the vibrant atmosphere of North Jutland and based in Aarhus, the brand fulfills a dream of creating the perfect summer wardrobe. Skagen Clothing’s collections are inspired by the area’s light and mood, blending a permanent summer essence with simple, earthy expressions in a bright, creative universe. The brand’s design philosophy emphasizes classic, Scandinavian, and timeless aesthetics, focusing on inviting natural colors that easily complement existing wardrobe items. The color palette mirrors the beautiful Skagen nature, ranging from white and sand to green shades and deep sea blue. Sustainability is a cornerstone of their philosophy, promoting longevity in fashion through a limited color palette and high-quality materials. Each style is meticulously tested for universal fit, ensuring world-class comfort and design. Our Creation for Skagen Clothing

BetrContent was tasked with creating two distinct types of video content for Skagen Clothing: a high-end brand video and a product-focused video. The objective was to enhance the brand’s online presence and drive customer engagement and conversions.
Both videos were crafted with BetrContent’s signature approach, combining aesthetic appeal with digital performance. Our aim was to not only meet the current needs of Skagen Clothing but also to set a new standard in brand and product video content in the fashion industry.

Our Approach:

Stylish Brand Video: For Skagen Clothing, we produced a high-production, stylish brand video, filmed in the picturesque location of Skagen. This choice of location was deliberate, ensuring the video captured the essence and aesthetic congruence with the brand’s identity.

The primary goal of this video was to showcase the brand’s exclusivity and its unique connection to the serene and elegant nature of Skagen. The video was crafted to evoke the feelings associated with Skagen Clothing – a sense of timeless elegance and an effortless summer vibe. Our focus was on the brand’s ethos rather than specific products, highlighting the lifestyle and emotion that Skagen Clothing embodies. By doing so, we aimed to create a deeper, emotional connection between the brand and its audience, elevating the brand’s perception as not just a clothing line, but a symbol of exclusive, Scandinavian elegance.

Product-Focused Video: The second video was a more direct, product-focused piece, highlighting Skagen Clothing’s new collection. This video was designed to be more informative, showcasing the specific attributes and appeal of the new product line.

The objective here was conversion. We wanted to directly influence the viewer’s decision-making process by demonstrating the attractiveness and unique qualities of the new collection. This video was tailored to highlight the sustainability, quality, and fit of the clothing, aligning with the brand’s emphasis on timeless fashion and durable design. The focus was on the tangible aspects of the products – their colors, materials, and versatility – making it easy for potential customers to see the value and utility of adding these pieces to their wardrobe.
